Pair of French Jacques Birckle Marble Top Ormolu Mounted Cherrywood Commodes

These antique chests of drawers retains their original silvered bronze hardware, escutcheon and shaped rouge maroon marble tops. Their slight bombé shapes hold two deep drawers resting on tall splayed legs, with silvered bronze sabots.
