These items are in excellent condition with only slight indications of use. Karim Rashid, the Designer of these chairs, was born in Cairo, Egypt, in 1960. He graduated from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, with a Bachelor’s in Industrial Design in 1982. Rashid has designed over 3000 pieces, including luxury goods, mass-produced items, furniture, lighting, interiors, high-tech gadgets, packaging, and brand identities. He has collaborated with renowned clients such as Issey Miyake, Tommy Hilfiger, Sony, and Citibank. In addition to his design work, Rashid has taught design at various institutions and has received numerous awards, including Designer of the Year from the Brooklyn Museum of Art in 1998.
