A large and grand antique Statuary marble fireplace dating to the 1850’s.
Each pilaster with two full rounded and free standing Corinthian columns that support a substantial mantel shelf. The arched opening carved with egg and dart moulding, this below a carved panelled frieze with centre cartouche.
Originally made in London to the highest standard from the finest imported Italian marble.
An unusual and architecturally pleasing design.
