This original 1800s mora clock has a beautiful face with a clean patina, fine hand carved decorated patterns on the body, gold gilt style embellishments and a carved base with later paint.
The clock body is distressed as befits its age and has the usual wood movement found in clocks of this age.
the clock is sold ‘as is’ : as a decorative piece only with the original mechanism and pendulum but not guaranteed to be in working order – If you want it working we can fit a professional hi torque battery mechanism for time keeping ( +£1250) or you can have a great sounding chiming mech which replays the recorded chime through a small speaker with a volume control and 8 hour night off switch (+£350)
The mech change takes approximate 2 weeks.
