Fine and rare pair of antique Dutch Verre Églomisé reverse oil paintings on glass panels – featuring moody landscapes with a castle and church, having areas with inset mother-of-pearl (bridge, church windows and moon) – unsigned – contained in the original matching giltwood frames – Netherlands – 19th century.
Excellent antique condition – no loss – no damage – no restoration – a couple of minor areas of paint loss to one painting – minor scuffs to the antique frames – signs of age and use.
