Vintage Design
Couple of chairs manufactured by the Danish firm Fostrup Stolefabrik in the 1960’s. Munda beech wood structure with an elegant and ergonomic Boomerang backup back on teak sheet. Mid Century design that is already an icon that has inspired many of its Danish and Scandinavian contexts. The construction and union of its support for the rest of the piece and the subtle angle of inclination in its legs finish turning it into a modern and timeless classic.
They are in an excellent state of conservation after having been completely restored and reupholstered. They have been sanded and polished by hand to recover all the splendor of their wood. After the polishing process, they have been finished with vegetable oil-wax to achieve that beautiful tone and natural shine and a silky touch. Finally, they have been reupholstered with artisanal beige herringbone cotton fabric.
