This is a very large and stunning, late 19th century Chinese Pale Celadon Crackle Glazed Dragon and Flaming Pearl Vase. The well-sculpted dragons are applied to the body of the vases and are highlighted in a dark-charcoal brown. The base is composed of cherry tree branches and flowers. This piece is in overall very good condition with some rubbing to the raised elements. At some point in time the vase was drilled for electrical fittings. I have elected to leave the vase with electrical fittings. Every home needs at least one dragon for protection! This vase now lamp, would incorporate well into most design themes from period to mid-century.
