A stunning French Empire or Neoclassical Style Gueridon Side Table by John Widdicomb Company. Burlwood round top on tri-pod burlwood base decorated with geometric and foliate brass edging and details; the table frieze features three classical cast brass urns with grape clusters and each leg support features a striking heavily modeled brass caryatid form with the legs terminating in acanthus leaf form sabots. John Widdicomb Company Brass label underneath the top. USA, c. 1980. Excellent condition – minor age wear, tiny nick on the top (Image 6), gently used.
