Antique Pair of Restored Pugin Gothic Style circa 1840 Plant / Display Stands

A very good looking and decorative pair, I actually purchased these for my house, the plan was to have them sitting either of a Welsh dresser with medium sized plants or bronzes on however we changed the layout and they are no longer needed

They are of course gothic pugin style, made in pine and with a glorious timber patina. They have been washed back and French polished by a Victorian trained French polisher. They have a wonderful patination that I wouldn’t dream of changing

Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
