19th Century, Dutch colonial end table is the perfect choice for adding an Old World touch to any room! Use it in an entryway, library, bedroom, family room or anywhere a nicely sized surface and storage are needed, with the addition of timeless, classical architecture. Rendered from indigenous old-growth oak, it features a solid plank top with a tailored panel apron underneath, on all four sides, with one short side being a full size drawer fitted with an intriguing hand-cast brass bale pull with guard. Flanking each apron atop the legs appear eight lions’ heads in full relief. The legs are a marvelous combination of an orb form atop a faceted, tapered pillar set upon square plinth blocks that are connected around the perimeter with stretchers, finishing with turned urn-shaped feet. Literally designed to last for centuries, it is destined to become an instant family heirloom!
