This stunning Irish mid-19th century table, in the style of British Ceylon specimen tables, features a dramatic spiral marquetry top of mahogany, arbutus, walnut, oak and burr oak. The tilt-top rests on a heavy turned and carved baluster pedestal base, with three down-swept scrolling legs, carved throughout with a flower-and-leaf motif. On brass casters.
