Vintage / made in Vienna (1854).
Please note:
These most elegant glass bottles had once been part of a silver condiment set made 1854 which had been offered during previous year (2016) in my listings of 1stdibs and sold in my shop here in Vienna then. The silver holder having kept the bottles was shaped as a sculptured elephant’s figurine attached to wheels being in working order (this condiment set could be moved along the table’s plate = RARITY !). Meanwhile, the silver part was sold in Dorotheum (= well known Viennese auction house). Additionally, the former owner asked me to sell the glass bottles, since he decided not to keep them, too.
The glass parts of this condiment set are made of ruby red shaded glass (excellently cut / partially facet cut) / two glass bottles having stoppers are destined for keeping oil and vinegar, the other two are covered by silver lids having function of spreading out salt and pepper.
