Pair of early 19th century plates by John Dawson & Co., Sunderland, Durham. The impressed mark dates from 1799-1837. These plates have lovely transfer in black of a hunting scene in the background and a single fallow deer in the foreground. This pattern is rare and unusual to find in pairs. The plate stands are not included.
