An incredibly beautiful antique Victorian gilt wood side chair, made in England and dating from around the 1840-1860 period.
It is of outstanding quality, with wonderful flowing carving throughout. It is a lovely shape and size, perfect for various settings around the home.
This is in lovely condition for its age, the gilt finish has just the right amount of wear and patina. There are some minor surface marks and chips here and there, no major structural damage. We have had this newly upholstered in a cream cotton fabric.
It is extremely rare to find a chair of this design and quality in this condition.
