Great example of a very early 1800s antique Swedish mora clock with hand carved detailing to the body and hood as proven by the single handed mechanism common to the early 1800s.
This original early 1800s mora clock has a beautiful face with a clean patina, top crown, finely shaped body, and a carved base.
The clock body is distressed as befits its age and has the usual wood movement found in clocks of this age.
the clock is sold ‘as is’ : as a decorative piece only with the original mechanism and pendulum but not guaranteed to be in working order – If you want it working we can fit a professional hi torque battery mechanism for time keeping ( +£250) or you can have a great sounding chiming mech which replays the recorded chime through a small speaker with a volume control and 8 hour night off switch (+£350)
You can choose whether to have one or two hands fitted as you wish.
