Decorative highly carved early 1800s antique Swedish mora clock in scraped back white grey paint with a wealth of hand painted detail and Fryksdal influence body shape made by J Janstrom of Tegen

This original 1800s mora clock has a good clean face with a nice patina
The clock body is distressed as befits its age and has the usual wood movement found in clocks of this age.
the clock is sold ‘as is’ : as a decorative piece only with the original mechanism and pendulum but not guaranteed to be in working order – If you want it working we can fit a professional hi torque battery mechanism for time keeping ( +£250) or you can have a great sounding chiming mech which replays the recorded chime through a small speaker with a volume control and 8 hour night off switch (+£350)
The mech change takes approximate 2 weeks.

Clock is structurally sound and features the typical paint distressing and wood movement common to this age of mora clock. it will be fitted with a chiming battery mechanism prior to shipping and checked over by our restorer for stability.
