These drawers have a timber patina to die for, it is glorious and looks golden in the right light. It is most likely Honduras mahogany which was used on some of the finest pieces around, most notably luxury pianos. The piece is Sheraton so has the wonderful shell inlaid decoration to the top and various pieces of string inlay all over. The handles are wonderful Lions head, the same as the oversized Regency door knockers, super collectable on their own
Condition wise, there will be some age and use related patina marks here and there, nothing that detracts from charm and charisma, we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom.

Condition:
Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition.
Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
