English Early Victorian mahogany leather top writing, library, or sofa table with bold pedestal ends. This simple yet handsome table has tapered, turned pedestal ends which are centered on a Classic mahogany platform supported by flattened bun feet. The hand tooled and dyed leather is a replacement and blends into the color of the wood quite well. The tooling is primarily blind tooling with just a touch of gold tooling for some liveliness. This is quite a sturdy table and is long enough to be used for most any large project from taxes to homework to research. It is finished on all sides so it can stand in the middle of a room as a Classic library table, of course a writing table or as a sofa table. 57″ long x 24 1/2″ deep x 29″ high.
