Vintage Neiman Marcus Hand Painted Porcelain Bowl With Pewter Base Depicting a Tiger With Birds of Paradise Flowers – Signed

Offering a beautiful vintage hand painted porcelain and pewter bowl made for Neiman Marcus, circa Mid 20th Century. It is signed on the bottom: Neiman Marcus – Made in China. This bowl is quite heavy for its size. See dimensions and weight below.

The bowl is hand painted in the traditional “Famille Rose” heavily textured glaze. It depicts a hidden tiger surrounded by beautiful birds of paradise flowers in a lush jungle scene. The bowl is encased in solid pewter on the bottom as seen in the photos.

EXCELLENT VINTAGE CONDITION. The pewter portion of the bowl does have scratches and tarnishing commensurate with age. The porcelain portion is perfect.

A beautiful piece suited for a Tropical, Coastal or Boho Chic Decor that loves to incorporate animals and colorful floral accessories into their interior design motifs.
